you sit just below the surface.

Trying to understand,
I believe your doing this on purpose.

Without the hearts of others
you'd soon fall deeply under.

Abandonment and betrayal
you had the chance to resolve the situation.

Because of this selfishness
leads me to see your true self.

In the end of it all when the hurt is past,
the humiliation settles in with questions.

Along with the thought of realization, I say.

At this point you missed out
a person you've never really known
a person you'll never see
a real person that is me.
